She said Yes! I'm really sorry it took me so long to touch base with you guys. I got really busy with wedding planning and other family affairs immediately after the engagement. 

 
Proposal: 
So I took her to this restaurant called Studio at the Montage Resort and Spa in Laguna Beach. We're both dressed for the occasion. I'm wearing a suit and she's wearing a beautiful black dress with a floral design. I tricked her into thinking that we're just going to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. 

 
So we pull up to the resort and valet my car. As we walk into the lobby, we were greeted with a huge window overlooking the ocean. There was a pianist playing lounge music and some customers enjoying a few drinks on sofas or tables. We were told that the restaurant was outside towards the rear of the resort sitting high on an oceanfront bluff. So we head down towards the back area and as we were exiting, an employee  randomly decided to give us a tour. We walked out and there was a huge pool and we were finally able to see the full resort in its glory. It was beautiful. As we approached the restaurant, we could see a clear view of the ocean. Amazing! What a view! I told Trisha (now my fiancée) earlier that we had a reservation for 5:30. So when we got to the restaurant it was closed (they open at 6pm). I did this on purpose so that we would have time to watch the sunset and then I would propose. 

We found a bench looking straight out into the ocean. Unfortunately, we were a little late so we missed the sunset. but the view was still magnificent. as night approached, we talked about our relationship. i was getting her in the mood. but she was upset with me. She kept thinking to herself how beautiful the location was and that it would be perfect place for me to propose. So she didn't want contribute to the conversation i was trying to lead us in. Then she saw a shooting star and I asked her what she wished for. She didn't want to tell me cause she was feeling disappointed. She didn't think I was going to propose anytime soon. But that's when I got down on one knee and pulled out that heart stopping August Vintage ring. It was night already so it was perfect when the light turned on as I opened the ring box. She was seriously in shock. She said YES immediately and pulled me up off my knees to hug me. She didn't let me go for about 15 minutes. And then I was finally able to put the ring on her finger. She was shocked throughout the evening. She couldn't even eat the dinner.

But most of all, SHE LOVES THE RING!!!!! And boy does this rock burn on her finger! Her mom was so amazed at the cut! She said she's never seen a diamond like that before. All of her girlfriends were very impressed with the diamond (and very jealous as well). They jokingly expressed to me that they would definitely marry me if I gave them the diamond instead. She told me she stares at it all the time and receives many complements for it. 

Thank you guys so much for all of your help. I was very skeptical about buying a diamond online at first. But now I'm strongly convinced that buying from GOG is the BEST way to go. GOG has a very special place in my heart. You guys have a customer for life. I've already recommended GOG to many of my friends. Keep up the wonderful work. I love you guys!!!

Oh yeah, we're getting married this year on August 8th!
