Leslie and I are engaged!  I was so excited that I decided to ask her a day earlier than I planned.  Our day began watching the 5AM sunrise at 10,000ft on the top of Haleakala (on Maui ) followed by biking down the side of the mountain, almost 7000ft.  Then I took Leslie shopping in the afternoon and we even looked at a few diamonds.  Little did she know that I had a diamond ring in my pocket.  Sunset came along so I took her for a walk on the beach and finally popped the question.  She immediately said “Of Course!”, much to my delight.  She absolutely loves the diamond and constantly receives many compliments about it’s brightness and brilliance.  Sometimes she catches me, and sometimes complete strangers, staring at her diamond ring, and it puts a smile on her face every time.
