The Princess (Cut) Diaries

More than a few times a week we get emails asking "What physical measurements constitute the most brilliant princess cuts?"  This question is not easily answered so I'd like to demonstrate with various graphics why seemingly ideal numbers do not always result in the most brilliant princess cuts.

Starting Points

Research on the net generally results in finding certain "recommended proportions" for a princess cut which has some basis in sound advice and others that make absolutely no sense at all.
