My name is Jonathan and I am the resident Gemologist here at Good Old Gold. I've been buying and selling diamonds for approximately 25 years. I am currently working on my Graduate Gemologist degree with GIA (Gemological Institute of America), I have taken courses not only with GIA and am an Alumni Member, but also with ISA (International Society of Appraisers) and am an Associate Member with this Society as well. I work with our family owned and operated business here in Long Island New York where we've established an outstanding client base over a period of 25 years and are well known throughout the Island and the 5 boroughs of NY for carrying the finest quality jewelry at the most affordable prices available to the public and am currently serving as Vice President of GIA Alumni, Long Island Chapter.

To put up an introduction page and not introduce you to the most awesome staff alive on this planet would be an injustice.

May I introduce...

Christen:  Without Christen our Internet business would be a shambles. She started with us 8 years ago as a sales associate.  She graduated Long Island University C.W. Post campus in 2002 with her Bachelors degree.  She is the first person we hired full-time to help me with the internet business when it started to take off. She takes care of all diamond orders, administrative duties, making sure all paperwork is in place, appraisals and shipping...  you name it. She is currently working on her "Diamonds Diploma" through GIA's Distance Education program.

Marie:   Marie is one of our assistants that primarily is in charge of answering the "Price for a Setting" form and attends to every customers needs.  She also helps Christen process orders and is a key player on our staff.  Marie has the most children so she is allowed to leave at 2:00pm.

Charles:  Charlie  is the Lab Technician responsible for the photography, scanning in of diamonds, and posting data to the web, and also can answer all questions pertaining to diamonds.

Vicky: is in charge of the shipping, and inventory updating of our diamonds. She is also a part timer like Marie, leaves at 2:00pm for her kids.
